Digital Design: 2011

The main inspiration for my model has been snowflakes and their shape and form. Through Sketchup and deep exploration I have experimented with using textures, mirrors and reflections. I extracted parts of model making it look more interesting because it is broken and pieces are floating around it. My intent for my movie is to make the viewer feel as though they are falling through the model and the surroundings are breaking away. To do this I will use rotational methods and have bits shifting away from parts of my model. I would like to add fog in my design so it gives the atmosphere that you are up in the sky falling through clouds.
